ENGLISH STUDY PLAN | 30-DAY ENGLISH STUDY PLAN TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH FLUENCY

Hey, in today's English lesson, I am going to give you a 30 day English study plan.

This study plan is going to help you improve your English

fluency in only 30 days.

Are you ready?

Do you have your pen and paper ready?

Well, then I'm teacher Tiffani let's jump right in.

All right, let's start with the first five days.

This 30 day study plan is broken up into six different sections.

Section number one for a section.

Number one, we're going to focus on the topic.

Of travel.

Now you might be asking yourself, Hey, I wonder why Tiffani is

focusing the first section on travel.

Let me explain this to you very quickly.

The reason why this is so important is.

First, it will help you learn vocabulary related to modes of transportation,

places to visit and tourist activities.

Remember the goal is to help you speak more fluently at

the end of a 30 day period.

Many people talk about travel.

We're living in a global society.

Now, everyone is traveling around the world.

So you need to understand how to speak about travel.

So section one.

Is focused on travel.

The second reason is because it will provide you with opportunities to

practice describing past and future trips.

You're learning English.

You want to speak English fluently.

So you're going to be traveling to different places, meeting

different individuals, and they're going to ask you questions.

Hey.

Have you ever traveled abroad?

Hey, tell me about your last trip.

Well, in order for you to speak confidently about your last trip, you must

focus on travel for the first section.

We're going to dive deeper into this.

The third reason is it allows you to listen and speak about cultural

differences and similarities you have, or will encounter while traveling.

Makes sense, right?

It makes sense now why the very first section of our 30 day English study

plan is going to focus on travel.

Here we go.

Are you ready now?

Day one, this is what you need to do on day one, on day one of

this 30 day English study plan, you need to watch that's right.

A TV show or movie in English without subtitles.

For 30 minutes, this is challenging.

Remember the goal is at the end of this 30 day period, you'll be able

to speak English more fluently.

So day one, watch a video, a TV show or movie in English without subtitles.

For 30 minutes, pay attention to the conversational pace and try

to follow along without pausing.

Don't push pause, just follow along.

Remember though, it must be about the topic of this section

we're talking about travel.

Day one, find a video, a TV show, or a movie about travel.

YouTube is full of videos.

Solo travelers, travel vloggers.

You can find one, find a video, watch it.

I'll give you an example.

And this is actually a great channel.

Um, Kara and Nate, K A R A and Nate N A T E.

I follow them all the time.

They really are a great couple.

They speak English.

They're first language and they travel around the world.

Watch one of their videos, just watch it, enjoy it day one.

Now let's move on to day two.

What do you need to do for day two on day two partner practice is the focus.

So you're going to focus on speaking fluently with a language partner or tutor

for 30 minutes about the TV show or movie.

You watched and I'm including YouTube because YouTube has become our TV, right?

Practice smooth conversations with natural pauses and intonation.

So remember day one, we're still on section one.

Topic is travel day one.

You watched something for 30 minutes about travel day two.

Now it's time to speak about that thing, that show you watched.

With a partner, you can speak to them in person.

You can call them.

You can find a partner online.

This is very important day to practice with your partner.

Speak about what you watched.

Now let's move on to day three on day three article day three, you're

going to read a short article.

Or news story out loud for at least 15 minutes, I really love this

English study plan because it works.

So read it out loud for at least 15 minutes, focus on maintaining

a smooth and natural flow.

While reading, remember it must be about the topic of this section.

We're on day three, but we're still in section one, which is about, yes, about

travel, find an article about travel.

Day one, you watched a TV show or a movie about travel.

Day two, you practice speaking about that with a partner.

Day three.

Now you're reading an article related to travel.

You got it.

All right.

Hope you're taking notes day four.

Now day four partner practice.

Oh, I love this engage in a 20 minute.

English conversation about the article you read focus on maintaining

fluency and conversational flow.

Are you noticing anything yet?

We're just on day four of our 30 day English study plan,

but day one input day two.

Output day three, input day four output.

You see what's happening, right?

There's this pattern put information in immediately.

Bring it out, put information in immediately.

Bring it out.

We're talking about getting you to the next level.

Improving your English fluency in 30 days, it will work.

Trust me.

Let's move on to day five, day five, the last day of this section,

section one on travel day five image.

Describe if you've been with me for a while, you know, I love visuals.

Practice describing a picture or a scene in English for 10 minutes.

These periods of time are very important.

Practice describing an image for 10 minutes in the beginning.

This is going to be challenging, but believe in yourself.

Remember what we talked about in last week's lesson, believe in yourself

for 10 minutes, talk about the picture, focus on speaking smoothly.

Without pausing to search for words.

Don't look in your dictionary and search for words.

No, whatever words, you know, whatever expressions, you know,

use those words and expressions.

My niece is seven.

She doesn't know all the words that I know.

She doesn't know all the expressions that I know, but she

can still speak English fluently.

She uses her words.

To describe things you can do the same.

Remember though, the images must be related to the topic of this section.

You can pick one, two, or three images, but they must be about this topic.

Travel makes sense, right?

So again, day one input TV show day two output partner practice day three input

article about travel day for output partner practice day five creativity.

Output.

Formulating your thoughts and ideas as you're looking at an image, makes sense.

Right?

Section one, travel.

The focus is travel.

Follow this pattern day.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

You ready to move on?

You got it.

All right.

Take notes.

Let's move on to section number two.

So let's go now to day six.

Now first, actually, before we get to day six, I want to give you three reasons why.

We're picking the topic of work.

This is not a random topic.

Remember this 30 day English study plan is going to help you get to the next level.

So why did I choose this topic of work?

Here are the reasons.

Reason number one.

It will give you the tools to talk about your job responsibilities, workplace

dynamics, and business etiquette.

You're trying to speak English fluently.

So I've picked some of the most common topics that you need to be able to

discuss, to speak about fluently.

Second reason, it will help you to learn specific industry, jargon,

terminology, words, expressions.

And vocabulary, this is why I chose this topic.

And third, it will provide opportunities for you to practice communication

skills that are necessary for job interviews and networking.

This is why this topic is so important.

All right.

So now you understand why section two, the topic is work.

You got it.

All right, let's move on.

So now let's look at day number six, day number six.

Ah, this looks familiar.

Television or movie, watch a TV show or movie in English with subtitles for 30

minutes, just like in section one, pay attention to the conversational pace and

try to follow along without pushing pause.

Remember, it must be about the topic of this section.

So what you're going to notice is.

Each section follows the same pattern, but has a different topic.

Day six TV movie is input.

What do you think day seven is going to be?

Oh, you're smart.

Day seven, partner practice, getting it out.

Practice with your partner.

Talk about the TV show or the movie you watched related to this topic.

Talk for 30 minutes.

You got it.

Right.

What's next day eight.

Yes.

Now we need to input again, an article, read a short article or

news story out loud for how long.

You got it 15 minutes, at least 15 minutes focused on maintaining

a smooth and natural flow.

And remember the article must be about this section's topic,

section two, the topic being work.

So that's input what's next day nine.

Output that's right.

Partner practice engage in a 20 minute English conversation about the article

related to this topic that you read input, output, input, output day nine.

Now what happens on day 10?

Yes.

You remember image described now practice describing a picture or pictures or scenes

in English for 10 minutes, you're focusing on speaking smoothly without pausing, not

searching for words and the images must be related to the sections topic, which is.

Work exactly.

So you see this pattern, we have a total of six sections, six sections,

and each section has five days in it.

Section one, we had travel section two.

We have work.

Now let's move to section three, section three starts with day 11,

but section three, what's the topic.

The topic is.

Success and failure.

Remember for this 30 day English study plan, the goal is for you at the end

of the 30 days to be able to speak with confidence fluently about these topics.

The next topic you must speak about.

Is success and failure.

Why, why is this a topic that needed to be added to this 30 day English study plan?

Let me explain reason.

Number one, it will enable you to communicate achievements and setbacks

in a clear and concise manner.

You're an English learner.

You have good days and you have bad days.

You need to be able to communicate these things.

Reason number two, it will help you to learn vocabulary to

describe emotional states, such as disappointment, satisfaction, and pride.

It's important for you to be able to express these things and section

three will give you this ability.

This is not a game.

This 30 day English study plan is going to change your life.

Here we go.

Number three, reason number three, it will provide room for you to learn

how to give and receive constructive.

Criticism and feedback, success and failures.

This section is going to help you so much.

So again, this is why the topic for section three is success and failures.

Makes sense.

Excellent.

All right, so let's keep going.

Day 11, section three, day 11, you got it.

Television or movie, find a television show or a movie, at least 30 minutes

long about success and failure.

You can find tons of them on YouTube.

You can find them on Netflix, but again, just enjoy the show.

Listen, watch no subtitles, focus on listening and taking the information in.

Then day 12, what are we doing on day 12?

Input.

Output practice with a partner, spend the 30 minutes with a

partner, explaining what you saw.

Explaining what you watched on day 11, again, about success and failure.

After you do this, now you want to input again, day 13, by reading an

article, read an article out loud.

Please remember this, read it out loud for 15 minutes, challenging, but you

can do it about success and failure.

Read it out loud.

Then day 14.

Output practice with the partner, spend 20 minutes having an English

conversation about the article you read.

Ooh, listen, guarantee you by about this time, you'll start realizing, man,

Tiffani knows what she's talking about.

I know boo.

This is going to help you so much.

And then day 15, do you remember the pattern?

Come on.

Yes, image described practice, describing a picture or scene in English for 10

minutes, that results in not results, but that displays success and failure.

Something that shows success and failure speak about the image

or the scene for 10 minutes.

This is going to help you so much.

Section one, travel section to work section three, success and

failure following these patterns.

Now we're moving to section number four, getting to day 16 section number four.

The topic, you know, I love it.

You know, I love it.

The topic is food.

Again, why am I choosing these topics for this 30 day English study plan?

Why is it so important for these topics to be a part of your 30 day plan?

Let me explain why it's so important for this food topic

to be included in your plan.

Reason.

Number one, it will help you learn vocabulary related to food preparation and

cooking techniques in our private groups.

So there are thousands of students from around the world that have joined the

program and these students are a part of a private group where they talk a

lot and they chat right in the group.

And so many times they'll talk about food from their own countries.

Hey, this is the food that we like to eat during the holidays, or, Hey,

this is what we eat on our birthdays.

In order for you to express that to someone else, you

have to know the right word.

So we're on this section, section number four.

Reason number two, why this topic is so important.

It will provide you with an opportunity to explore new cultural practices and meals.

I'm learning from the students.

The students are learning from each other.

You can learn from other English learners, but you have to know how to express.

Your cultural meals first.

And finally, it will allow you to express tastes and preferences

and discuss dietary requirements.

You know, that I'm a vegetarian.

I don't eat cheese.

I'm partly a vegan.

So I have to know how to express that when I go to Korea.

In Korean, it's important to know how to talk about these things.

So that's why section four topic is food.

So day 16, what are we doing?

You got it.

Watch a show, watch a movie at least 30 minutes about the topic of food.

No subtitles.

Just enjoy it.

Don't pause.

Take it all in day 17.

What are we doing?

Practicing with a partner output, practice speaking about what you

watched for at least 30 minutes.

Talk about the show you watched, talk about the movie, describe it,

things you like, things you disliked.

And then day 18, what are we doing?

Input, read an article, an article about food, read it out

loud for at least 15 minutes.

You need to give your tongue, the practice what's happening.

Every single day of this 30 day English study plan for at least 15 minutes,

you're speaking in English out loud.

It'll be impossible for your English not to improve.

If you simply follow this plan.

Now let's move to the next one.

Day 19.

Ooh, practice with a partner.

Talk about the article you read, discuss it for 20 minutes with your partner.

And then the last one day 20 of section four image described, very

easy to find images of delicious food.

Describe them in English for 10 minutes out loud.

This will help you organize your thoughts.

This will help you think creatively in English, and this will

help you improve your fluency.

Section four, the topic being food.

You got it.

All right.

We're at day 20.

We've completed.

Now we're moving on to section number five, section number five is all about.

Relationships.

That's right.

Relationships.

It doesn't matter where you live.

Relationships are a part of your culture.

So what are the three reasons why relationships, why is this so important to

include in our 30 day English study plan?

Reason number one, it will give you a chance to discuss why

relationships are even important.

Why are relationships an aspect of every culture?

Giving you the ability to add your opinions in these types of conversations.

Reason number two, it will help you learn how to talk about the ups and

downs of relationships and reason number three, it will provide you

with an opportunity to improve your ability to build healthy relationships.

We're talking about changing your English at the end of this 30 day period.

So section five, the topic is relationships.

All right.

So day 21, what is it going to be?

That's right.

Watch a TV show or a movie at least for 30 minutes with no subtitles about the topic.

Relationships.

And you know, it's very easy to find videos about relationships.

Watch the video, pay attention to the conversational pace and

follow along without pausing.

Then day 22, what are we doing?

Output practice with a partner speaking about this for about 30 minutes, what

you watched, talk to them about it, what you liked, what you didn't like.

Then day 23, what are you doing?

Reading an article input about relationships, inputting more

information, learning new words, new expressions, new patterns, as you take

this information in so that on day 24, the output day, when you speak

with your partner partner practice, you'll be able to have a 20 minute

conversation describing the article.

And then finally for section five, day 25 image described, find images

or scenes that reflect relationships or display relationships and spend 10

minutes speaking out loud, describing the images or the scenes you see,

this pattern is going to help you.

Each section has a different topic.

But each section follows a specific pattern.

Now we're getting to the last five days of our 30 day English study plan.

The last five days, section number six, the focus goals.

That's right.

The topic for this section is goals.

Why did I choose this topic?

Why is it so important?

Reason number one, it will enable you to express your

personal and professional goals.

For the future, you need to have this vocabulary.

You need to be able to organize your thoughts to speak about this topic.

Reason number two, it will help you learn how to talk about the

steps needed to achieve your goals.

And reason number three, it will provide you with an opportunity to

practice organizing your thoughts.

About your goals, this section is going to help you so much.

So again, we understand why this topic is so important.

What do we need to do on day 26 day 26, watch a television show or a movie

about goals you need to input for at least 30 minutes, no subtitles.

Then day 27 output, talk about it with a partner for at least 30 minutes in

English about the TV show day 28 input, read an article out loud for 15 minutes.

About goals.

Then day 29 output, you're going to practice speaking about the article

with the partner for at least 20 minutes, input, output, input, output.

Creative thinking.

Now it's time for day 30 image.

Describe, find an image, a scene that displays or shows goals.

Talk about it for 10 minutes, six sections, following a pattern that

by the end of this 30 day period will literally improve your English.

Your speaking ability will be enhanced.

Trust me, follow this plan.

It definitely works.

You know what time it is.

It's story time.

Hey, I said, it's story time.

All right.

For our story today, it's a shorter story.

But I want to tell you something that happened to me one day.

I had been working all day and I didn't have time to cook dinner.

So I just wanted to go out and get something from Burger King.

Burger King now sells vegan burgers, right?

It's not too far from my office.

So I said, okay, let me just head out really quickly and go to Burger King.

So I went to Burger King and I got in the line and I ordered a vegan

burger, vegan Whopper and a large fry.

I was hungry.

So they said, okay, ma'am, we need a little extra time.

We'll take your payment, but then if you can sit in the parking lot and we'll

have someone bring the food out to you.

Sure, no problem.

The weather's great.

I have nothing to do right now, so I sat in the car, listened

to some music, relaxing.

About five minutes later, a young man came out of Burger King with a bag in his hand.

My stomach started jumping.

Oh yeah, we about to throw down.

So the young man gives me the bag.

I said, thank you so much.

I take it, roll my window up, and something says, Tiff,

open the bag before you leave.

I say, okay, let me open the bag.

The young man has already walked away.

I open the bag, fries, fresh, mmm, delicious.

I take one, delicious.

Then I continue to take out the sandwich, and I open it, and I pause.

I look at the sandwich, and I say, this, this is not gonna work.

I think they had been rushing.

The sandwich had been slapped together.

It didn't look like any picture of any sandwich you've ever seen

on an ad or in a commercial.

So I proceeded to roll my window down.

I said, young man, young man, young man, I need you to come on back, boo boo.

I need you to come on back.

He said, yes, ma'am.

I said, baby, this, um, this sandwich is struggling a bit.

He said, what do you mean?

And I showed it to him.

He said, oh.

I said, yeah, can I get another one?

It, I mean, honestly, it, it was horrible.

So he said, okay, ma'am, come inside.

So I went inside and he gave the bag to his manager and said, Hey,

we need to make the sandwich again.

The manager opens up.

The, the paper and looks at the sandwich, looks at me and says, ma'am, you

didn't have to do this to the sandwich.

I said, I didn't do anything.

He said, Oh, I said, yeah, that's why I walked in here.

It was so messed up.

He thought I had done it.

I said, no, sir, I didn't do that.

That's why I came in to get another one.

He said, Oh, I'm so sorry.

I said, it's okay.

So I waited for another sandwich to be made.

They were very nice.

They made another sandwich.

And then when he gave me the bag, it was a little heavy.

He said, ma'am, I threw some extra fries in there for you.

I said, okay.

So yes, I had to wait extra.

But I was able to get some extra fries and they were very cordial and

their customer service was amazing.

So always be nice to people, even when you have to get something,

um, redone, always be nice.
