'AA' versus 'EH'

'AA' 대 'EH' 이

Let's compare these two  American English vowel sounds.  

두 가지 미국 영어 모음 소리를 비교해 봅시다.

For the 'AA' vowel, the tongue lifts more in  the back. For the 'EH' vowel, it's more of an  

'AA' 모음의 경우 혀가 뒤쪽에서 더 올라갑니다 . 'EH' 모음의 경우

even lifting from the middle. For both of these  vowels, the tongue tip is forward, touching the  

중간에서 고르게 올라오는 모음에 가깝습니다. 이 두 모음 모두 혀끝이 앞으로 나와

backs of the bottom front teeth. It's subtle,  but I would say there's a little more jaw drop  

아래쪽 앞니의 뒷면에 닿습니다. 미묘 하지만 'EH'보다 'AA'가 입이 떡 벌어질 정도입니다

for 'AA' than for 'EH.' You may notice for this  vowel, that the top lip lifts just a little bit.
