previously Peter hello about something  I said earlier okay what is your

question yeah well in fact it was with  something you said in a video teacher

about learning English with movies I know it  is a good method but I don't know how to do

it well yeah you're right movies are  a great tool to learn and improve  

your English but many students don't know  how to do it well don't worry I will help

you I so many students had problems with the  subtitles use subtitles wisely use subtitles  

to help you understand subtitles can  be a great tool for learning English  

start by watching with subtitles in your  native language to understand the story  

then switch to English subtitles this will  help you match the spoken words with the

text finally try watching without any subtitles  to test your understanding don't rely too much  

on subtitles they are a tool to help not to  replace listening practice use them as a step  

bystep guide to improve your listening skills  that's the correct way also repeat and Rewind  

when you hear a new word or phrase pause  the movie or series rewind and listen to it

again this helps you understand  how it is pronounced and used in a

sentence you can also repeat the  lines out loud to practice your resp  

skills if a sin is difficult to understand watch  it several times repetition helps you remember and  

get comfortable with new vocabulary and phrases  what else focus on everyday conversations very

important movies and series often show how  people talk in real life they use everyday  

language and common Expressions focus on how  characters greet each other ask questions and

respond notice the phrases they use in different  situations this helps you learn practical

language that you can use in Daily conversations  write down any new words or phrases you hear  

and practice using them and this leads  me to the next tip practice speaking and

imitating listening is important  but speaking is also crucial try  

to imitate the way characters speak  repeat their lines and mimic their  

pronunciation and intonation this  practice helps you improve your AC

and speaking fluency you can even  record yourself and compareed to the

original speaking out loud helps you  get used to the sounds and rhythms of

English what else explore different genes  don't just stick to one type of movie or series  

explore different generes like  drama comedy science fiction and

documentaries why well each gener  and has its own style of language and

vocabulary for example comedies often use  

jokes and his Lang while dramas  might have more formal language

watching a variety helps you learn  a wider range of vocabulary and

expressions oh and do not watch video  without first doing this thing set learning

goals decide what you want to achieve with each  movie or series it could be learning 10 new words  

and understanding the main plot or improving  your pronunciation having clear goals helps you

focus and measure your progress write  down your goals and check them after

watching setting small achievable goals  keeps you motivated and makes your learning  

more effective and something that helps  many of my students is discuss what you

watched after watching a movie or series  discuss it with friends family or a language

partner talk about the plot characters  and your favorite sins explain what you  

liked or didn't like why because this helps  you practice speaking English and using new

vocabulary discussing the content helps reinforce  what you learn and improves your ability to  

express your thoughts something that I didn't  mention before but you can do it is use online

resources many movies and series have  websites or fan page that provide

summaries character descriptions and  discussion forums I am in many of these  

forums they are great use these resources to get  more information about what you watched it's very  

useful reading summaries and fan discussions  in English helps you understand the plot

better and learn how other people  talk about movie or serious

discussion it's a good way to practice  reading and expand your vocabulary so do it

please now it's also important to watch at your  own pace yeah it is okay to take your time you  

don't need to understand everything right away  watch at the Bas that is comfortable for you if  

a movie or episode is too difficult you can pause  rewind or even watch it in smaller parts learning  

a language takes time and it's important to  go at a speed that helps you understand I  

enjoy the process very important rewatch  favorites if you have a favorite movie or  

episode watch it again each time you watch you  will notice new details and better understand the

language rewatching helps reinforce what you  learned and makes the language more familiar

it's also more enjoyable because you  already like the content which makes  

learning feels less like a task and more like  fun oh don't forget to write about what you

watched after watching a movie or series  write a short summary or review in English

describe the plot characters and your  thoughts about it writing helps you

practice using new vocabulary and expressing  your ideas clearly you can also write down new

words and phrases you learned this practice  

improves your writing skills and  helps you remember what you learned
