Difference between USUAL and USUALLY

We're now going to look at the word USUAL which is an adjective and USUALLY the adverb.

이제 형용사와 부사인 USUAL이라는 단어를 살펴보겠습니다 .

And remember with adjectives and adverbs we can't use them together.

그리고 형용사와 부사는 함께 사용할 수 없다는 것을 기억하세요.

The adjective goes to clarify the noun and the adverb goes to clarify the verb.

형용사는 명사를 명확하게 하고 부사는 동사를 명확하게 합니다.

So USUAL.

그래서 평소.

As usual I will spend Sunday with my family.

여느 때처럼 나는 가족과 함께 일요일을 보낼 것이다.

As usual I will do some work later.

여느 때와 같이 나는 나중에 일을 할 것이다.

As usual I will cook the dinner.

여느 때처럼 나는 저녁을 요리할 것이다.

So USUAL with nouns like dinner, work, family.

그래서 USUAL은 저녁 식사, 직장, 가족과 같은 명사와 함께 사용됩니다.

USUALLY as the adverb as I said goes with the verb.

일반적으로 내가 말했듯이 부사는 동사와 함께갑니다 .

I usually go to work on a metro.

저는 보통 지하철에서 일하러 갑니다.

I usually do some work in the afternoon.

나는 보통 오후에 약간의 일을 한다.

I usually cycle my bike in the mornings.So with the adverb always look for the verb.

나는 보통 아침에 자전거를 타요. 그래서 부사와 함께 항상 동사를 찾으세요.

Usually go, usually do, usually walk, usually work.

보통은 가고, 보통은 하고, 보통은 걷고, 보통은 일한다.
