Have you ever heard of a platform called Kahoot!?

Well, it’s an online quiz game website

in which children,

teens and even adults can play quiz games

by answering questions on many topics.

Games are a really fun way to learn English.

As I’ve said here before on my Learn English

with apps video,

the brain needs emotion to learn.

So, through games you can practice your English,

and have lots of fun at the same time,

and learn a lot.

Well-designed games like Kahoot! are very immersive activities.

This not only helps motivate

learners, but it also distracts them from stress and anxiety,

making them more open to learning.

And because this game is online,

you can practice right at home.

Kahoot! quizzes can be played

on computers or on mobile phones and tablets.

Cambridge Assessment English has launched a bunch

of quiz games for children

and they are divided by the CFR level from pre-A1 to A2,

which are the young learners levels.

Teachers can assign the game

to their students in a live class,

where they will play all together.

Or send it as homework,

where the students will play individually

and at their own pace.

Parents can choose a Kahoot!

and play on the computer,

which then you will need two devices,

or they can play on the app with their mobile phones and tablets,

where children can play by themselves.

And they can practice with flash cards

and they can even challenge their friends to play

the game they have just played.

Kahoot! is fun

because there are a number of different types of questions,

such as multiple choice, true or false, or puzzles.

And children can practice many skills

while answering the questions, such as reading and spelling.

And the questions are also preparatory

for the Cambridge Young Learners exams.
