now first of all ,have been and has been are the same tense just for different people

so I can say I have been blah blah blah

but he has been

you have been,we have been,they have been

or you should remember "he, she ,and it" are always gonna be has been

now I said I've been that 's a shorten version of I have been

right It's been dreaming of mine for along time to write the book it has been,it's been

ok so we are talking about something that sound in the past but continue in the present and still importance

like it 's been dreaming of mine to write a book

or I've been thinking about writing a book for a long time

use these right (has been ,have been)

ok now had been a little bit more checking

most of the time we just use the past tense

right but when we have a situation we are talking about the past kind of surprise the surprise come up

like ok when I travel to Vietnam in december 2014 I had been thinking that I may never have the opportunity to come back

but now I'm back it is march 2015

and I'm so lucky of opportunity to come back to Vietnam I love this country

and a lot of gonaturalenglish community is in Vietnam

umm so had been,I had been thinking when Zuuuu surprise something different happen

umm let see I had been thinking about starting a diet but then I start a candy bar

that looks really good and I just eat it so yeah give me some good energy to make this english tips

so it's ok right,you know I will replace it be this weekend and work it off no problem

ahh so again had been I had been thinking about something and then it change

so when something kind of changes suddenly I would use this tense when both thing had in the past

I had been thinking about you know diet and then I saw also past tense the candy bar

about something like that It happen to you

like you was thinking,you had been thinking about something and then something out happen in the past

so I almost say,I was thinking about so that another way I could say alright

I was thinking about dieting and then I saw a candy bar

so I think more more because it's easier just use the past tense

people are using the past tense in stead of had been

but if you want to emphasize the something happen farther in the past you can use had been

especially if they are major chance

umm like let see I had been working on another postcard project and then I started gonaturalenglish postcard

right but again if you emphasize what is happen way back in the pass try out (had been)
