hey hey English practicer welcome back hey  shall we do a little bit of a vocabulary  

practice this is going to be a listening  and reading lesson just read along with me  

and we'll we will discuss a few expressions  and phrases I think we have three our first  

one is you look a little tired there's  different ways to say that right you  

look a little tired you look kind of tired you  look a bit tired I noticed you've been working  

long hours this week you look a bit tired  maybe you should take a break and get some

rest I was up until 2: a.m. studying last night  I'm pretty wiped out pretty wiped out wiped out  

that means extremely tired so that's kind of  contradictory pretty softens it I'm pretty  

wiped out I'm not to totally wiped out if you  were like totally extremely wiped out you would  

say I'm totally wiped out I'm extremely wiped  out but they soften it a little bit I'm pretty  

wiped out yeah you do look a little tired you'd  better lie down and rest a bit Yeah lie down take  

a rest shall I bring you some water shall I shall  I bring you some water that's okay that means no  

thank you you do not need to bring me water  that's okay that's okay I'll drink something  

later right now I just want to rest I just said  wna I just want to rest I said I just want to

rest have no choice that's our next  little phrase here oops here we go  

if you have no choice but to do something or  you have little choice but to do it you cannot  

avoid doing it you have to do it you have no  choice they had little choice but to agree to

with it they say it's a Civil Rights bill do  you know what a bill is that's when you make  

a law in Congress you you propose a new law  it's a bill a Civil Rights bill human rights  

but much of the bill has nothing to do with  civil rights that's pretty common in Congress  

they will put forward a bill and there'll be  lots of parts of the bill that have nothing  

to do with the Central purpose of the bill  politicians I can't figure them out I want  

nothing to do with them I used it all right my  family will have nothing to do with that man  

my family will not associate with that person  my family will have nothing to do with that

man does it have anything to  do with the news does it have  

anything to do with what was reported in the news

reports what's it who knows it doesn't say  right right does the fact that you are not  

going to get a vaccination have anything to  do with the news oh great I shouldn't have  

said anything about a vaccination now I'm going  to have problems in the comment section no just  

kidding just kidding all right that's guess  what that's the end of the lesson nice little
