go outside into Much Wenlock Town Center unfortunately you may have heard the

news recently that there is a certain virus going around at the moment so I've

decided to protect myself and yes I have literally self isolated myself out in

the wilderness of Shropshire where am i I am in the middle of a large forest it

is a very windy day so I am slightly worried to see if one of these trees

will fall on my head whilst I'm doing my livestream anyway here we go I hope you

are doing well I'm on I'm on a walk I'm taking a walk in the countryside very

close to where I live I hope you are ok as you can see I have my big stick do

you like my big stick you must always carry a very large stick when you are

walking around the countryside just in case you fall over now this particular

stick can come in very useful for many things you see you can use this for many

things it can help you to walk on an even ground and also it can save your

life if you get stuck somewhere you can use it to pull your way out of maybe a

small space where you are stuck so you can use this to pry yourself out of a

tight situation you could also break it if you fall over and if you injure your

leg you can use this stick as a splint splint so when we say

splint it means something that you can use to keep a person's arm or maybe

their leg straight so the bone does not break anymore it can stop maybe

something serious from happening to you if you I don't know if you fall over and

injure your leg or maybe you injure your arm you can use a splint splint so I

will throw this away now I don't think I need this anymore but I will keep it

nearby just in case so excuse me I just need to get rid of my big stick

normally there are farms nearby like round here for instance around here

there are lots of farms and lots of animals except there aren't many around

here having said that during the spring

months you can often find deer roaming around this area so the area I'm

standing in at the moment quite often you will get deer walking around

wandering around trying to find food so who knows we might be lucky today we

might actually see a deer wandering around however they are just like me

they are very shy and very timid so maybe not I hope you are doing well how

are you coping with the current situation concerning the coronavirus yes

I know a very serious situation taking place including here in the UK in the

area where I live there are now two confirmed cases so not very far away

from where I live in Shropshire so now there are two confirmed cases of

coronavirus and that is one of the reasons why I changed my mind

I was going to go into town to do a live stream from the town square

however I decided to change my mind and instead I'm doing it here here in the

middle in the middle of nowhere I have all this space around me so much

space I love it I love living in the countryside I really do a lot of people

say mr. Duncan don't you get bored staying in the countryside

I never feel bored living out here I love it I think it's the most amazing

place in the world today we will be talking about reality and I thought it

was a good subject because there are lots of words that we can use to talk

about reality and I suppose at the moment you might say that it reality

right now is very strange a very strange period of time that we

are living through at the moment so I thought I would talk about that hello to

quarantine but I must stay at home and I can't go to the grocery shop or the

pharmacy when it is necessary yes I have seen this morning on the news that other

countries are now joining in with the self-isolation so if a person is feeling

unwell they have been told that they must stay in isolation they must keep

themselves away from other people and that's why I'm here today in the middle

of the countryside because I'm far away from anyone else there is no one around

me however you might be able to hear the wind

blowing because it is a very windy day so I'm just wondering whether I'm

standing in the right place maybe one of these trees will come down and hit me on

the head I hope not so here in the UK yes things are slowly

getting worse people are starting to panic I don't want to talk too much

that I feel very fortunate very lucky that I can live in such a wonderful

the wildlife so maybe there is a squirrel up in one of the trees watching

thought I would do one today because I did one last week as well if you

delicious with the forest perfume well at the moment I don't know if you can

see it but all around me all around here this is actually wild garlic so at the

moment where I'm standing all I can smell is garlic in the air so everything

you see all of this green behind me all of this all of this is

garlic growing in the wild and there is some here right next to me I will show

you a piece of garlic

here it is so this is wild garlic and it grows all around here and later in the

month there will be lots of beautiful white flowers appearing on the garlic so

there you can see some lovely garlic oh oh my goodness that is so nice for those

who like garlic you can probably imagine the smell that I'm experiencing right

now it's beautiful and did you know you can also put this in soup as well so you

can use wild garlic in soup and some people use it as garnish on their salads

the word garnish means something that you add on top of food to make it look

more attractive wild garlic and I love the smell and also the taste of garlic I

know that some people don't like it I know some people hate the smell of

by the way mr. Steve this morning went out to work but before he left the house

he realized that he had no hand sanitizer so he had actually run out you

Steve this morning realized he didn't have his so can you guess what Steve did

you're not going to believe what Steve did this morning

so he got the empty bottle of hand sanitizer so his bottle was empty he had

none left so instead he put vodka into the bottle

instead so he actually went to work this morning with a small bottle of vodka in

his hand so during the day he is going to use vodka to clean his hands because

at the moment he hasn't got any hand sanitizer can you believe that does it

work I don't know I have a feeling mr. Steve might be drinking some of it as

well that's what I think I hope not because he's driving so unfortunately

mr. Steve's job will take him near people who may be ill so he has to be

extra careful he has to be very careful where he goes and who he has contact

around me and you are sharing my reality so your reality is now part of my

reality and vice versa so your reality is experiencing me talking to you from

my reality so everything you see now is real it is true it isn't fake it isn't

now realism is a very interesting word and normally it will show the fact that

something is being made to appear real so you have realism realism

so maybe there is a painting that you see in a in an art gallery so you might

see a beautiful painting and it looks very real so something that has realism

is something that looks real it looks as if you can reach out and touch it

something that is very real we talked about realism quite often in art we will

talk about realism so the way in which art is used to create the illusion of

reality so again another interesting word realism realism maybe you go to the

cinema to see the latest movie maybe you have gone to the cinema to see maybe the

new Star Wars film or maybe you've been to see whatever the latest movie is that

people are watching I'm sure at least one of the movies at the moment will be

a superhero movie because they always are always are nowadays don't you think

so maybe you go to the cinema and maybe you put on your 3d glasses so you can

see the movie in a completely different way so perhaps you might describe 3d as

realism it provides a certain amount of realism because the thing you are

looking at on the screen looks as if it's real so there is a certain amount

of realism realism something that is realistic something that looks real and

something that gives you the feeling of reality as I said just quite often we we

see reality as something that gives us a certain feel a certain emotion so the

more real something is the more we feel it we feel

the realism and yes over the years in art people have tried to recreate

realism they've tried to make their paintings or maybe their photographs or

maybe the way they design something to make it look realistic realistic

here's another word I like this word if something is real we might describe it

as genuine a genuine thing something that is genuine a genuine article

or a genuine thing something that is real we can describe as genuine may be a

person you might meet a person in your life who is very genuine they are a

person who you can trust you believe what they say there are they are a

person who is always sincere so you might describe a person as genuine mr.
