the live chat working now I've noticed over the past couple of days YouTube have changed

the way in which you get the live stream working so I have to play with the controls for a

few moments and hopefully I will get the live stream working if I don't get it working on

my mobile phone this will be a very short program that's all I can say come on where

is the live stream they were supposed to be a live chat and I can't see it she's very

worrying now the last time this happened I had to start the live stream all over again

so I hope this doesn't happen this time come on where is the live stream please just amuse

yourselves for a moment it's not my fault it's YouTube's fault they've made lots of

changes you see and these days it's much harder to find a live chat well that's annoying that's

weekend it's going to become very cold again so I thought I would come outside and make

the most of this lovely weather whilst it is here also today is a very special day you

may have read in the newspapers on the internet that the 29th of March 2019 is a day that

will go down in history especially here in the UK because today is brexit day well it

was supposed to be brexit day we were supposed to be leaving the European Union today but

as you may have heard on the news or read on the Internet that isn't happening now however

today there are some important votes taking place down in London in the house of parliament

or the houses of parliament so in the House of Commons today they will be voting on whether

or not to go ahead with brexit or whether not to go ahead with brexit or perhaps we

could have a little bit of brexit and a little bit of Europe do you realise that might be

the simplest explanation of brexit ever this is the place to come to you don't need the

BBC come here you will get it all explained to you very simply so that's what's happening

we were supposed to be leaving today but it's not happening anymore it's not happening it's

been cancelled brexit is an ex brexit however it might still be happening if the vote today

goes a certain way but even after then there is still lots of things to decide and vote

on and arrange and discuss and debate can you believe we have been waiting for this

day for three years it's taken three years to get to this point and we have nothing there

is no brexit it's not going to happen today although it might happen next month or it

might happen the month after all it might never happen so we will have to wait and see

so the original plan was to come on today and do a livestream at the moment we left

the European Union which was half past eleven tonight but because now there is no brexit

happening today I've decided to do it earlier in the sunshine so here we are thank you very

much for joining me it's a very complicated issue I must admit I'm sure there might be

some people tuning in now who might be thinking this guy isn't talking about brexit is talking

about all sorts of things is talking about birds in blue sky why isn't he talking about

brexit well the idea of doing this is to give you a chance to listen to English being spoken

and of course now and again we talk about different subjects different issues and at

the moment here in the UK everyone is talking about brexit I have a feeling that brexit

so there are some people who believe in brexit and there are some people who don't believe

in brexit and I suppose Teresa may might be the Jesus of brexit when you think about it

because she's giving up everything to make sure that her brexit plan goes ahead so it

is a little bit like a religion some people believe and brexit and some people don't believe

and it was our lovely friend from New Zealand who comes around once a year to trim our trees

many ways of describing it some people have some very interesting words to use to describe

the European Union quite often swear words so that's it basically we have voted to leave

and we were supposed to leave officially today today is brexit Day the 29th of March 2019

however there are now many people who don't want brexit to go ahead and there are also

people who don't want the deal that we are trying to be persuaded to agree with to go

ahead so that it's very complex basically we leave the European Union and then we will

be on our own we will trade on our own we will be once again one country one economic

country we won't be relying on Europe which might be a good thing it might also be a bad

thing so who knows and that is one of the big problems we are now entering into the

unknown no one really knows what will happen next even today no one knows what will happen

this afternoon and this evening when all the MPs gather together to vote on the final deal

so it might not go ahead even after today very very crazy times we are living in em

UK we have many convenient stores and this idea came from the United States where for

many years they've had convenient stores so many shops now are not small so in the past

they used to be very small shops that would just sell newspapers and sweets to children

and maybe some food or gifts but now there are many of these convenient stores all around

the country and many of them have taken over the center of each town. Pedro that's a very

we just say the shop the local shop so the local shop will be the place where you can

buy all sorts of things including cigarettes newspapers sweets and quite often food so

nowadays here in the UK many chemists and pharmacies sell other things as well so yes

does a poo in your house and so there you are having your supper and there in the corner

of your room your dog is taking a dump on your carpet it doesn't do anything for your

want one I don't want a dog because I will end up having to look after it you see because

I'm here most of the time working so the thing is I will end up looking after the dog just

as I've ended up looking after the spiders we have two giant spider is that mr. Steve

is caring for for one of his friends but but I have to do all the work I have to take care

of these spiders now so no we're not having a dog so I hope that answers your question

can I improve my spelling mr. Duncan asks Loulou well just like anything you have to

become familiar with each word so if you want to improve your spelling you have to become

familiar with the word you want to remember I remember when I was young a long time ago

I used to love sitting reading and do you know what I used to read do you know what

I used to read all the time I used to read the dictionary I used to just look through

the dictionary I used to turn the pages I would sit there for hours and I would look

at the words and sometimes a word would interest me it would catch my eye and I would like

I would I would write it down and I would try my best to remember the word and that

was when I was a child so I was always fascinated as a child by words and I used to write stories

as well so another good way of getting used to using words and remembering the spelling

of words is to write so maybe some people might type using a computer or you can write

something by hand so that's something I used to do when I was a child and it really did

improve my English as you can see my English is quite good so it does work you've already

had many birds in your garden so they are like pets yes they are all of my pets are
