Singular or plural? (news, series, United States, etc.) | common mistakes in English (EZEE #10)

As you know, we're going to fix some more common errors

아시다시피

to increase your confidence in speaking English.

영어 말하기에 대한 자신감을 높이기 위해 몇 가지 일반적인 오류를 수정하겠습니다.

Remember that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process,

실수는 학습 과정의 자연스러운 부분임을 기억하세요.

so make sure you never apologise  for making mistakes,

따라서

especially when you're learning a complicated language like English.

특히 영어와 같은 복잡한 언어를 배울 때는 실수에 대해 절대 사과하지 마세요.

 Today's lesson is about words that end in 's'

오늘 수업은

but are not plural, like 'series', 'news', and 'headquarters'.

'series', 'news', 'headquarters'와 같이 복수형이 아닌 's'로 끝나는 단어에 관한 것입니다.

So, which one is correct:

그렇다면

'this news' or 'these news'?

'이 뉴스'와 '이 뉴스' 중 어느 것이 맞습니까? 답을
