Common mistakes with questions: What? Who? Whom? | What happened? or What did happen? (EZEE #6)

As you know by now, this series is about deleting some common mistakes

from your written and spoken English

so you can communicate in English more confidently.

Okay! With that in mind, let's look at today's topic,

which is the common confusion about questions with

'who' and 'what'.

These two question words sometimes need an auxiliary verb

and sometimes don't. For example:

'Who did he speak to?'

'Who spoke to him?'

Let's find out how to formulate the right type of question each time.
