The Difference Between "Used to" and "Usually"

So, today, I'm going to talk to you about the difference between two kind of tricky

expressions. So, one is used to and the other is usually. And we use this when we're talking

about something that we often do.

Is this RealLife?

So, the difference is that "used to" is a past habitual action. So, it's probably used

with something that you don't do anymore.

Usually, on the other hand, is for habitual actions that you do still. So, you'll probably

use this for things that you do evry day, or every week, or every month, and so on.

All right, guys, let me give you some examples to help you put these two words, used to and

usually, to use. To clarify the differences, so that you don't make mistakes with them

anymore.

First, "when I was a kid, I used to go to the beach every day." "I usually go to the

beach on the weekends."

Two - "In college, I used to get up at 6 a.m. to study." "I usually get up at 10 a.m. I'm

not a morning person."

Three - "I used to love The Beatles, but now I usually listen to The Rolling Stones."

"I usually go to Thai restaurants, although I used to like Chinese food when I was young."
