Brian I'm so happy you came to  visit me how are you my favorite

grandon hello grandpa you know I like  coming here but my father doesn't have much

time he's the one who brings me here and  since he's working I can't come alone

I understand don't worry but  you're very tall how old are you

now I am 14 I will be 15 next  month will you come to my birthday

party absolutely I wouldn't miss  it I will be there in the morning

song great that told me you  were sick what happened are you

okay well you know time goes by I am not getting

younger soon I won't be here and  that's okay I am prepared for that  

life works that way don't say that that  you are strong you will be with us for  

a long time who knows but it is a  great opportunity to tell you some

things things I have learned during my time  here and I am sure they'll be useful for

you so I want you to listen to me please  and remember everything I have to tell  

you be kind as the saying goes in a  world where you can be anything be

kind the phrase be kind was always something  my dad wanted us to focus on and to bring into  

the world there was never a question of when  one should be kind but that this should be a  

way in which we live also have compassion being  neutral and always willing to listen to understand  

having compassion for others will help you give  peace of mind in situations where emotions can  

run High it can be easy to say things you  don't mean or make rash decisions believe

me however I encourage you to pause and  to listen with an open heart so that  

you're not looking to be right but to merely be  understood as well as understanding the other

person help those in need help those  in need especially when they ask

you no matter the situation or who the  person is if you see someone less fortunate  

and especially if someone approaches you for  help you would help where you could remember

that be 10 minutes late for a party and 10 minutes  early for a meeting do you know what it means  

being early for a party gives the host less time  to prepare for their guests making it borderline  

immoral being late for a meeting shows that you do  not value the time of the other person as much as

yours put your heart into everything you  do there are plenty of times I have not  

wanted to do things but I've painted parking lot  lines with more passion and commitment that some  

keynote speakers I've met now the principles  you're going to live by and live by them it is

important men of principle are admirable you  have to be one of them people have lost this  

idea idea nowadays consistency in actions  is something I admire and I try to live a  

principled life you should do it too be adaptable  our ability to adapt is important for our survival  

and personal growth that doesn't mean abandon  your principles in the face of minor difficulty

but it does mean re-evaluating your  principles when presented with new

data never stop learning let me tell you  something I never let schooling get in the  

way of my education look at me I am very  old but I am still learning I try to learn  

new skills and I always read it's okay to  make mistakes mistakes are how we learn as

humans learn from those mistakes and  apply that knowledge mistakes are

important if you don't make mistakes you will  never know what skill you have to improve

exercise every single day even when you don't feel  like it I learned exercising is very important  

and you don't have to go to the gym for that  you can take a walk go running or ride your

bike don't ever be afraid to be your true self  we see a lot of things now on the internet people  

with perfect lives spending much money and  buying different things being happy all  

the time that's only for social network you  don't need to be like that to be happy just  

be your true self you will always find  people who like you as you are believe

me love is not always easy sometimes  you have to work at it and that's

true the problem is that people think  love is something like magic and it is

not love is something you can work  for with details being romantic or

helpful if you find a girl you love so  much much and who is worth it then fight  

for her for her love if you're faced with  a problem don't delay trying to figure it  

out but if there is no way to figure it  out you have to forget about it sometimes  

we spend a lot of time trying to solve  problems which don't have a solution make  

sure you're doing what you love don't be a  afraid to follow those dreams you have for

yourself explore your world and stay curious  I travel to many places but it's not enough  

I feel there are many places I don't  know yet and I will try to go to these

places you're young so if you want  to know something go for it stay

curious life is a gift that you must  unrra it's up to you to determine if  

what's inside would lead you to  happiness or this may you have  

the power to make that decision  for yourself always remember that

please I really appreciate your advice  grandpa but we will have a lot of  

time for us don't worry we never know son and  for people watching this video I need your
