grammar skills aren't always easy to learn  but luckily you can improve your skills with

practice the first thing you have to do if you  really want to learn grammar is read read and  

read this tip might seem obvious but it's the  most important one read reading English you  

can read novels text books or newspapers  anything that makes you excited to keep

reading whether or not English  is your native language your  

brain will learn it better through repeated

exposure remember the more you read the more  you'll naturally understand how proper grammar

works even if you don't know all the rules yet  

reading will help you build  an intuition for the reading

language I'm telling you this because many  

students tell me they can't  read because they have basic

level that's okay even if you  don't understand everything read

please also consult a grammar manual you  yeah I know many people don't like it but  

it is crucial a grammar manual can help you  understand why English grammar works the  

way it does because it can certainly help  you avoid WR mistakes don't you have one

yet if you don't have a grammar manual yet you  can try the grammar in use ser ious by Raymond

Murphy I used to work with that book with  my students but any grammar manual will  

work for you if you think it's boring to sit  and read a manual then there are other ways  

to do it but let me tell you something  most students learn better that way that  

traditional way do you want a more modern  tip all right then you need to use a grammar

checker a grammar checker can help  you make your writing sound fluent and

professional even if you're still learning the  rules they can help improve your grammar skills  

with everything you right nowadays there are many  apps and websites to do it I mean with grammar

Checkers like grammarly language tool pro  writing ad and many more and I'm not telling  

you only to use these ones what I mean is these  are only examples nobody pays us to advertise

now something that helped me when I was  learning English is to learn the parts of  

a speech let me explain it to you there  are nine types of words in the English

language nouns pronouns verbs adjectives adverbs  prepositions conjunctions interjections and  

articles study these nine parts of a speech  and how they link you'll need to know which  

role each word place in order to use it  correctly in a sentence what I used to do  

is to write list of them I had list of nouns  adjectives verbs and then I join them to make

sentences I love to do that because I could  learn a lot of new words and form different

sentences now if you think  it's boring to learn grammar  

like this you have the option of playing grammar

games most people learn better  by playing games than by studying

seriously you can find plenty of grammar games  online which put your skills to the test in a fun  

and exciting way you can try some apps or websites  like fluent you proit with your English and many

others again these are not  recommendations but only examples what

else oh we can't forget practice writing  with correct grammar very important the  

more you practice writing the  faster your grammar skills will

improve try keeping a Daily Journal  in English you can try writing short  

stories too if that's something you're  interested in better yet you can find  

a friend to chat with that way you'll  be able to get direct feedback on your

work ask them to let you know if you  make the same grammar errors over and

over so you can keep an eye out for it in  the future so write whatever you want but  

write something that students always forget  is to study punctuation rules it is very

important because many grammar mistakes involve  improper punctuation and they don't know

it correct punctuation shows you how  reading thoughts stop pause or connect  

to one another you will need to know how to  use punctuations marks like commas periods

semicolons colons apostrophes dashes  and more normally students don't care  

about punctuation but it is crucial to learn  grammar and speak English properly don't forget

that I will give you one example always  use a comma after introductory phrases or  

prepositional phrases this point can sound a bit  confusing but it's a really simple way to improve

grammar the prepositional phrase is a word  combination the main element of which is a

preposition usually the prepositional phrase  begins with a preposition and ends with a noun or

pronoun for example under the pile of  clothes comma we found his wallet or  

after a hard day at work coma Jen loves  to relax in the backyard you see now if  

you have some money to invest why not  investing in a class that's not a bad

idea if you want to make sure your grammar  is improving it may be worth investing in a
