And whatnot, And what have you, & more!

We don't always specify everything we mean.  We use phrases like "and all that" to make  

a quick and general reference to  all related things. For example,  

who wants to talk about housework or  hear about it in detail? No one. So,  

I might explain, "I'm usually busy on Saturday  mornings. I do laundry, vacuum, and all that"

"And what have you" is similar. It can  imply various other things. For example,  

do you have a junk drawer? Many people  keep a junk drawer in their kitchen. It  

holds things like scissors, tape, maybe  a bottle opener, and what have you.

You can also use "and whatnot" to mean the  same thing. The list of related items goes on.  

For example, think about what you can find or  what you can put in the seat pocket on a plane:  

safety instructions, earphones,  a water bottle, and whatnot.
