and I hope you can see what I can see which is a rather nice view at the

moment it is late afternoon it is now 25 minutes to 5:00 so it is 25 minutes away

from 5 o'clock in the afternoon here in the UK and you are now looking at alive

you here in the United Kingdom during this very strange period of time that we

all find ourselves living through and I thought wouldn't it be nice to share

this strange experience with everyone else who might be out there at the

moment going through the same thing so I am now out and about walking around yes

Wenlock and you can see the sun is shining and all of the trees so what you

are looking at now is actually the top of Wenlock edge not very far away from

my house in fact I can see my house from where

view of my house as well but I suppose the big question is where are you mr.

Duncan we can't see you how come you are not on our screen we cannot see your

your beautiful face well first of all I'm taking my coat off because I'm very

hot so the Sun is out it's very hot I'm now standing at the top of a big hill

and I'm overlooking some beautiful landscape

again out and about I'm now walking around not very far away from where I

live in fact my house is somewhere down there behind me so I'm high up I have a

lovely view of the English countryside behind me and now so do you you might be

able to hear some dogs barking most people I think it would be fair to say

that most people are at home at the moment here in the UK and quite possibly

where you are as well I have a feeling you might also be at home as well hello

I moved from my back garden is because mr. Steve wanted to go outside and cut

the grass so Steve has a very noisy lawnmower it is petrol driven so his

lawnmower is quite noisy so that's the reason why I decided to move somewhere

else so I am a bit further away from the house now I am no longer in the back

garden I don't know why the dog seemed very

excited for some reason maybe they're barking at me maybe I am disturbing them

who knows so can I just say a big hello to everyone on the live chat I am doing

it once again I don't think I have ever done a live chat twice on the same day

I'm sure I've never done it before so because we are living through strange

times I thought I would do something very strange right now and I'm talking

difference between rich people and poor people is poor people don't have much

money or maybe they find it hard to get through life or perhaps they find it

hard to make ends meet oh I like that expression there is an expression in

English to make ends meet so if you can't if you cannot make ends meet we

can say that you don't have much money or maybe you are poor so you can't make

ends meet you don't have much money of course you can be wealthy you can also

be wealthy you can be rich you could be rich you could have lots and lots of

money and be wealthy rich you can have all the money in the world

however it doesn't mean that you're going to be happy it doesn't necessarily

mean that you're going to be happy

impressed maybe you are depressed so if you feel depressed you feel unhappy you

feel slightly down you feel as if your spirits are low however you don't have

to feel like this ever again because I will be

with you almost every day so during this strange period of time I will try to do

as many live streams as possible I will try to be here with you all the time if

worker he's working at home even though he can't go out to work he can still

work at home so he's still working as normal but most of his work now he is

doing at home just like me I suppose you might say that I am working at home as

well even though technically technically I am NOT working at home I'm not working

come into place there are new rules so you can't go outside with more than

another person so only 2 people are allowed to go outside together so you

can't have large groups of people joining together that is not allowed so

that is one of the new rules that has come into place here in the UK one of

the new rules that is now happening here in the UK

many books well I think that's good that sounds like you have a lot of things to

keep you company yes I think those people are jogging jogging and enjoying

the weather of course we all have to stay far apart from each other at the

moment we can't too close to each other because of you

know what you know what I'm talking about of course in Spain only one person

is allowed to go out at any time for specific or maybe an important reason so

people can go outside however you are not allowed to go outside unless it is

absolutely necessary maybe something that is important maybe you have an

emergency maybe you have to go to the doctors or maybe you have to go to the

pharmacy to collect some medicine so yes unless you have a very good reason for

going outside in some countries they are not letting you go out so I think that

is quite amazing that in some places they aren't letting you go out hello to

isolated I am alone and so are you maybe so we can be alone together here on

YouTube it is beautiful the nature I would like to go there but I feel boring

doing this is because I want to I want to share some of my time with you so I

restrictions coming into practice yes there are many situations many events

many new laws including here in England don't forget in England there are many

can't go out now especially in big towns and cities people cannot go out

so that is what is happening here in England and you may have heard on the

news that one of our royal family a member of the royal family has now

become ill Prince Charles who is formerly known as the Prince of Wales he

is also in line to be the king so he is the next person who will come along and

concerned quite worried that Prince Charles the Prince of Wales is now

important things that you really need to have we can describe as essentials the

there are lots of birds around me some of them are in the trees some of them

are flying around above my head I suppose some of them are sitting away

from the sunshine and maybe they are in the shade

yes mr. Duncan we can hear the birds they sound so lovely I can also hear the

sheep there are some sheep in the field way over there and at the moment there

are lots of little lambs as well because this is the lambing season so many of

the sheep are actually giving birth to little baby sheep

or should I say lambs so lots of lambs are being bored at the moment in the

tree in the fields not in the trees that would be very strange but no the lambs

are being born at the moment and this is the lambing season now in this area so

lots of little lambs and in the evening if you go outside in the evening you can

find lots of lambs and you can hear them all calling for their mothers it's

really really nice so we're very busy time of year for the farmers because

lots of lambs are now being bored so yes a very busy time for the farmers I would

imagine that some farmers are feeling very worried because they don't know

what the future will be because some farmers of course rely on people buying

things so maybe if people stopped buying things maybe they stopped buying meat or

maybe they stopped buying certain types of grain you might find

a month ago sometimes I felt very desperate because I hardly understood

some people what can you suggest well I always say that listening to English

getting used to listening to the English language

is something you have to do over a long period of time of course because

everyone speaks English in a different way some people have very strong accents

so a strong accent might mean that it is hard to understand what someone is

saying so there are many different accents around so in American English or

I suppose you could say in the USA English is spoken with many different

accents very similar to here in the UK so here in the UK people speak English

with many different accents as you go around the country you will hear lots of

different English accents in some places they might even have their own words or

their own special words that they use in certain parts of the country we call

those colloquialisms so a colloquialism is a word that is only used in a certain

place some local dialect may be or a slang term that is only used in certain

places I have come prepared today because I have some water I've made sure

that I have some water because whenever I go outside to do my live streams I

always forget I always forget to take my water so today I do have some water I'm

going to have a drink of water and whilst I do that I will let you see some

of the beautiful landscape okay is that a deal do you agree okay

if you listen carefully you might be able to hear some sheep in the distance

I think the farmer is herding the Sheep

I'm back I just had a lovely bottle of water so I'm just drinking some water at

the moment because one of the problems was standing out here in the sunlight is

you might actually get dehydrated so I hope you enjoyed that a lovely view of

the landscape and could you hear the sheep is well there are some sheep very

far away in one of the fields in the distance making a lot of noise I have a

feeling that the the farmer is is gathering the sheep so that is the

I like certain types of modern art I like art that is intriguing so if a

piece of art is intriguing maybe it makes you think about things or maybe it

helps you to see the world in a different way then I like it

yes so all sorts of art modern art traditional art I also like sculptures

I've been to the Royal Academy in London many times amazing place the Royal

Academy of Art in London is a wonderful place I could live in that place I love

it and it has the most amazing atmosphere as well so it's not just a

place to go and see paintings it's also a wonderful play

just to spend time because the building itself is also very nice apparently it

is the middle of the night in Vietnam yes I think it must be it must be two

maybe one or two o'clock in the morning or maybe three maybe it's three a.m. in

Vietnam perhaps hamid reza says the british also like Scottish whiskey I

think so we do drink a lot of alcohol in this country I think most people now

drink alcohol every day especially this period I'm sure during this period of

time lots of people are now drinking lots of alcohol except for me this is

not vodka a lot of people are saying mr. Duncan we think you've got vodka in your

bottle it is not vodka this is not alcohol it's water honestly I don't

really drink alcohol very often to be honest it's just water only water

so in the UK it is now 20 minutes past five o'clock here in the UK it is early

evening here early evening so as soon as I finish my livestream I will actually

go back home and then I'm going to have a cup of tea with mr. Steve and then we

Modern Art what about the painters of the 16th and 17th century I was watching

a very interesting programme the other night about Van Gogh or van Gogh and

it's very interesting when you look at van Gogh slive you realized that for

most of his life he actually suffered he didn't really have a very good life

because he always aimed for the things that he couldn't have beautiful women he

wanted a beautiful woman he even moved to a particular place where he thought

he would find a beautiful woman unfortunately he didn't all he could

find were prostitutes unfortunately so poor Van Gogh was very

unlucky in love and of course he did suffer many problems as well he was

depressed he was trying to express himself through his art he was looking

for that perfect person that perfect woman who could make his life complete

so I was really interested to to see the documentary the other night about Van

Gogh and of course there is a great movie all about Van Gogh slice I haven't

seen it yet but it looks very good and I might

actually watch it during my isolation period but yes I love art I was very

interested last year when I went to Paris and I was able to see some of the

areas where nay painted his pictures mr. Duncan did

you make two livestreams today yes I've already been on I was on earlier in the

garden but unfortunately mr. Steve wanted to do some some work in the

garden so so now he is down there he is mowing the lawn he is cutting the grass

and that's the noise you can hear now so that is mr. Steve behind me cutting the

grass mr. Steve is very noisy so that's the reason why I had to move I moved

further away so I could continue doing my live stream how much is it to buy a

field in your country well I suppose it depends on what the location is I'm very

lucky because the area in which I live the prices of the property the prices of

the houses is actually quite reasonable so you can get a very nice house you can

get some nice property in this area but you don't have to spend a huge amount of

money so you don't have to be rich to live here which is just as well really I

think it's it's great that you don't have to be rich to live here

that's probably the reason why I'm here hmm

that Pet Shop Boys I grew up through my teenage years with

the Pet Shop Boys so yes I'm a very big fan of Neil Tennant and also Chris Lowe

I do remember and I know him as well not personally but I do know of him so yes I

London is completely empty there are no people at all walking around London

except for those who are doing essential work such as doctors and nurses and

England and yes it is a beautiful evening here in England

the area where I live is called Much Wenlock so that is the town where I live

and the area the surrounding area is called Shropshire Shropshire it is a

very small place much Wenlock very small town and yes you might describe this as

a rural area rural which means countryside it is away from the towns it

is far away from the cities it is a peaceful place

am 100% well I am fit I am taking some exercise at the moment and I am sharing

the distance are actually in Wales so they are not in England they are

actually the Welsh mountains you can see in the far distance and I don't live

looking towards the Sun which is slowly setting and those mountains in the

distance they are actually the Welsh Hills we are looking out towards Wales

and across the beautiful Shropshire landscape

you might not be able to see it but that is roughly the direction it is in oh

that's better I've covered my arms now because my arms

were starting to get very cold as soon as the Sun disappears the temperature

begins to fall that is what happens mr. Duncan you can work out a little bit yes

maybe I can do one of those workout videos a lot of people have been doing

exercise videos they have been showing people how to do their aerobics and

exercise whilst they are in their house so maybe I can move around if I move

around enough times maybe I can keep myself warm

unfortunately my coat has been lying on the ground so it's not very warm my coat
